Data Protection Notice
To participate in the event and matchmaking sessions of the Business Conference - Renewables in Mozambique from 6-7 December 2022, participants need to register a profile on the event platform hosted on b2match. (For the data protection and privacy policy of b2match, please click here.)
The data shared in the participant profile will be processed by ‘the organisers’ of the event: Alliance for Rural Electrification (ARE), Lusophone Renewable Energy Association (ALER), Mozambican Renewable Energy Association (AMER), and GET.invest, a programme implemented by the Deutsche Gesellschaft für Internationale Zusammenarbeit (GIZ) GmbH; as well as the organisations that implement the event on behalf of the organizers, hereafter referred to as ‘the data processors’: CEFE International GmbH, and CONOSCOPE GmbH respectively (two organisations under contract with GET.invest to help implement the event). Please note that AMER is based in Mozambique; data will thus also be processed outside the European Union.
The aforementioned organisations will manage your data in compliance with the General Data Protection Regulation of the European Union. The information you are asked to complete is necessary to organise the event you will be attending, confirm your registration by e-mail, create your profile, and allow you to modify your registration. Without a registered profile, it is not possible to participate in the sessions. Your published profile on the b2match platform can only be seen by other participants who have been invited to the event and have accepted to publish their profile as well. Contact details, i.e. your phone number and e-mail address, will not be accessible if you decide not to make them visible. After the event, your data will be processed to conduct post-evaluation surveys by e-mail or phone call and to obtain general analytics about events implemented by ARE and GET.invest. By registering your profile, you consent to the processing of your personal data for the purpose described herein.
ALER, AMER and ARE retains a list of participants of its "Renewables in Mozambique 2022" event in order to facilitate repeat invitations. For the privacy policy of ARE, please click here. If you want to delete or change your data, please get in touch with are@ruralelec.org. GET.invest, CEFE International GmbH, and CONOSCOPE GmbH will store your data until 30 June 2023 for post-evaluation purposes and anonymize it afterward.
You can obtain written communication of your data processed in the context of the "Renewables in Mozambique 2022" rectification, restriction of processing, erasure, and where appropriate, portability of your data by emailing info@get-invest.eu.
